Nathan.
Nathan is an Occupational Therapist and outdoor enthusiast based in Calgary, AB. Nate & I met at a Colour The Trails Ice Climbing event a couple of years back, and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. I photographed him by the water one late summer evening.
Coralia.
Coralia is a climbing instructor and elementary school teacher based out of Calgary. She is also Vice-President of Soul of Miistaki. Her story centres around culture, climbing, community and identity, and how she explores the intersection of it all as a Latinx Canadian.
At Home With: Sophia Mary Mac.
An afternoon at home with Brisbane designer & illustrator, Sophia Mary Mac. Sophia's stunning space is in a beautiful two-storey Queenslander (that's a type of home here in Australia, for those not-in-the-know) and is worthy of some serious envy.
Hand-lettering with Leona Fietz.
I'm so lucky to be surrounded by an incredible, supportive and talented community of self-starters in Brisbane. Leona is just one of these amazing people.
Clare at Cabarita.
After our shoot for Lululemon, Clare and I couldn't help but go for a dip (because as if we'd be spending all that time shooting by the beach without actually going into the water...no, our swimmers were well and truly packed).
Peppers Lodge, Cradle Mountain (Day 1).
I am pretty excited to share this next round of posts with you. Cradle Mountain was, without argument, one of the highlights of the trip.
A summer in The Philippines.
You don't need to be a photographer to know how easy it is for life to move on and for our personal photos to sit buried in our hard drives never to be seen again, so I'm relieved I can finally share some of these, because they're important to me.
In My Element: Interview with Element Eden Australia.
Last Saturday I spent the afternoon with Mia, making coffee, chatting and taking photos of my space for an interview with Element Eden Australia.
Borneo Trek For Orangutans: Day 9-10.
In this last post, we travel from Putussibau to Pontianak, Pontianak to Jakarta, and Jakarta to Sydney before I finally fly back home to Brisbane in the early hours of Monday morning.
Borneo Trek For Orangutans: Day 8.
This post covers the very last Friday of our trip; our journey back to the cities. We travelled from Bukit Peninjau Wildlife Research Station back to Meliau longhouse to say goodbye to the villagers and wait for our boats back to Lanjak—but Borneo wasn't done surprising us yet.
Borneo Trek For Orangutans: Day 6-7.
Our last two days in the jungle would be spent at Bukit Peninjau Wildlife Research Station, about a half an hour boat ride from Meliau longhouse.
Borneo Trek For Orangutans: Day 5.
Today we would leave our beautiful campground in Betung Kerihun National Park for another day of travelling and little else.
Borneo Trek For Orangutans: Day 4.
On that Monday, we woke up in our beautiful jungle home. Our office would be the trees, and we didn't know it yet, but today we were going to have the best (and most challenging) fun ever.
Borneo Trek For Orangutans: Day 3.
After two full days of travelling by air, our third day would be a full of travelling by land and by sea.
Borneo Trek For Orangutans: Day 1-2.
It was a week yesterday since I landed home after 10 days in Indonesian Borneo. It's just as surreal to me now as it was when I was leaving that this trip even happened.
Behind the scenes with Jasmine Dowling.
Documenting creatives behind-the-scenes is definitely my favourite kind of project. So it made a whole lot of sense for me to get together and collaborate with Brisbane creative Jasmine Dowling.
Melbourne photo diary.
Some snaps of Melbourne (aka photos of buildings, street art, bicycles, coffee) from our trip four weeks ago.
