A day on the ice with Colour The Trails.

From our Saturday ice climbing with Colour The Trails. After climbing on rock and plastic for the last 6 or 7 years, I was thrilled to get out on the ice for the first (but not the last) time.⁠

There’s something about this landscape that invites me to experience it anew all the time. The Saturday before this one, I was summiting one of these peaks; the next, I would be ice climbing below the very same one. There is always a different facet of the mountains to explore; a different way to enjoy them and be as much a part of them as they are of you.
